The Woman, real name Glenda Martinez is of Garifuna Decent, a tribe based in Honduras, Central America. Born and raised in East New York, Brooklyn, Toni developed a style and edge like no other. Talented female with a strong entrepreneurial spirit ready to take on the world.
Winner of the Amateur night @ the Apollo high school series in 1995, to the Underground Music Award Winner in 2009 ToniSteelz has made a name for herself. Formerly known as NFinite, Steelz rocked the stage as 1/2 of the Underground Music Award winning Male/Female hip hop duo BLACKSTEELZ. Creating music with producers such as Taz of KutDaCheck Productions, Canei Finch, Raheim Beyah formerly of Czar Entertainment, Hassan Shareef, Jimi Kendrix and Drawzilla of Comrades Corp are a few of the producers who are helping brand that ToniSteelz sound.
ToniSteelz is no stranger to the stage, having performed in the E.A.R.S/Life Beat Showcases, Plug In U In Showcases, Get Your Buzz Up, Volunteering for LIFEbeat's Heart and Voices and the A&R Power Summit, in venues such as, Blvd (Crash Mansion) NYC, Key Club, NJ, The Triad, NYC, BB Kings (NYC), SOBS (NYC) and Madison Square Garden. Acting in Off Broadway productions such as Ghetto Chronicles, Cooking in yesterday's Grease and A Piece of Me. Toni had solidified herself as an all around, all american entertainer.
Currently Toni is promoting her 1st solo project "Just Me" with leading single "Google Me" being placed on countless digital sites for your listening and purchasing pleasure. The video for "Google Me" premiered on Video Music Box and is currently being shopped to television music networks with over 12,000 views on Youtube. Not only is ToniSteelz a femcee but she also co-hosts Video Music Box alongside Ralph McDaniels, programs, produces and hosts her own Radio Video show named It's A GO! Radio as well as coordinate events.
