Bio
Toni Wortherly is a singer/songwriter, author and educator from Jacksonville, Florida. She has been singing and acting since I was a teenager and writing for almost fifteen years. Her childhood goal was to practice law and she did that, yet felt drawn to do something different. In 2005, I wrote a book called, Pray While You're Prey, and then, became a teacher. As a teacher,she has been a coach and a pageant director. Toni loves the impact I have on young lives and it is a highly rewarding job; however, now seems to be the time to bring some focus back to the music that comes from her heart. To date, she has completed the lyrics and chords for thirty-two original songs.
Her favorite singers are her dad, Ray Wortherly and Tramaine Hawkins. She has been influenced by all styles of music, as it is a universal language. However, what sets Toni apart is that because of her theatre training, she has a phenomenal vocal range and a tone that does not sound like any other artist.
The most important relationship in Toni's life is her relationship with Jesus Christ. Through her original music and vocal offerings, Toni finally feels like she is living in the fullness of that relationship and is on the path that God has for her.
