"Blues and Soul Top Ten List"

Tune of the issue goes to “Fallin’” hot from CampSoul featuring Tonya “Renée”
Stephenson, which launches the Home Soul Recordings label. Live vibed with
R & B tinges, Will’s Reelsoul Rework is classic soulful goodness for the floor. Karizma weighs in with his Deepah Vocal Dub is old skool hip shaking “Uk garage” style and he then turns in a Broke Down Dub. Ron Carroll rounds this set off with a cut up style house mix, but the Reelsoul take stands out here.

"Fallin' Review"

The first release for this new label with an outstanding set of mixes, I for one have been playing this for some time, from REEL SOUL, to KARIZMA, to RON CARROL this is an upbeat bumpy soulful house nugget that will be difficult to surpass – what a way to start a label - M8 Magazine

Bio

Coming from a musical background with both a mother and a father that used to sing, it is no surprise that this talented singer can bring the house down!

Tonya's style has created a hypnotic sound that infuses both Neo-Soul and House music defining a sound that is unmistakably her own. Her current single Fallin' has generated an overwhelming buzz centered in the United Kingdom and other areas of Europe, and has been featured on numerous top ten lists, as well as syndicated radio, broadcast radio, podcasts, and of course maintains high rotation in the UK club circuit. In addition, the single's Karizma Deepa Remix is featured on the new Hed Kandi global house compilation, Stereo Sushi, in stores now.

Having earned her start as a background vocalist for Jully Black on the "This is Me" album, Tonya Renée has branched off to record her own solo album, which will make its debut in stores Fall 2006. The album will feature a collaboration of producers from her parent label, CampSoul Music, as well as renowned house and funk producers under Home Soul Records.

Bringing with her sensual and emotional experiences beyond her years, Tonya Renée will pursue a solo musical compilation that will exceed the boundaries of traditional Soul music and invade the hearts of music lovers across the globe.
