Bio

Ever since I could remember, melodies and rhythmic phrases kept my mind occupied. During most of my childhood my friends and I would always get together and start free-styling however for me, I was always the “one-man band” creating improvised musical compositions for my friends to rap and sing over. I kept the session going for hours. I was (and still am) very into writing poetry, writing all the time in addition to entering competitions all around the WWW. By combining the 2 elements I was expressing, I knew I had a gift. I knew I could make original compositions!

In elementary school I picked up the Alto Saxophone and played that instrument for the next 6 yrs performing in my schools orchestra and high school plays. Music was my choice to pursue, I knew I had a place in it….. for life. It wasn’t until I was 25, I was able to buy my first pieces of audio recording equipment (Pro Tools M-BOX, monitors, Reason 2 and a midi keyboard). It cost me my life savings, but I was so happy. I was now able to start developing myself. I say “developing” myself because I didn’t have the budget to go to school to learn how to operate my equipment. I had to learn by myself and that’s EXACTLY what I did.

For the last 3 years I have taught myself how to Produce, Mix, and Arrange using Nuendo, Cubase, Reason, and Ableton Live, Write, Sing, and Rap, create Videos and Market my own songs. I produce Hip-Hop, R & B, Urban, Pop, Dance, and Progressive genres. I worked with many local artists and produced a full-length album for an international artist (Catalina Yue – Eternally in ’08). I have have also released my first EP (called Distant) expressing one of the many artistic sides of me. I like to keep things open-minded w/o any limitations.

Its a bit of an accomplishment by looking at what I had in life growing up and what I was able to make of it. And making it is my next goal!
