Bio

Since the age of 9 years old Antonio Echandy, better known as Tony E has been musically active. It wasn't until the age of 15 did his music become publicly known to his peers in Beacon, New York. In 2010 Tony E released his first mixtape The Incomplete Circle. The style of the this young lyricist is unlike most. Putting together meaningful words with a flow that both excites and entices his audience. In December of 2011 Tony E kicked open opportunities door entering The Break Contest at the Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie, New York. With a goal to win, Tony began selling tickets for his first show immediately. With an overwhelming support from his city Tony had no problem packing the house earning him his overall goal of performing at The Bamboozle Festival at MetLife Stadium. Performing with some of music’s biggest names like Lil’ Wayne, A Day To Remember, Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa, mission was completed.

Immediately after The Bamboozle Festival Tony E came home to open up for Mac Miller the very next day. A little after that he opened up for Chris Webby and dropped another mixtape entitled "Just Another Mixtape". Locally the mixtape was a hit. Everyone enjoyed how Tony could uniquely make every industry beat his own. In just his senior year of high school Tony was building himself quite a fan base. A couple months later Tony dropped another project titled "Story Time". In this project Tony developed every song to have its own unique story behind it to show how diverse and creative he is.

Never one to stop working Tony kept recording at a local recording studio with engineer Aaron Verdile of Ext Prod. In between he was also taking trips to New York City to record in multiple recording studios such as Jungle City, Mood Swing and The Engine Room.

Tony remains like any other artist with extraordinary goals and inspiration. Music wise Charles Hamilton, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West and Passion Pit are some of his creative inspirations. Tonys been quoted saying "Im just inspired at the idea of making music I love for a living. The idea of people listening to me just drives me even more."

Recently he's opened up on The Wu-Block Tour for Sheek Louch and Ghostface Killa. There after he began competing in the Hot97's "Who's Next?" competition. Tony was invited to the Hot97 radio station and even interviewed by Peter Rosenberg himself. Tony was asked to perform at SOB's in NYC opening up for Smoke Dza. With all that Tony released his latest project "Young & Inspired". All original beats and quality music. Out now on datpiff.com for free download. Working with his Camo counterparts Greg Ortiz and Dj.Sincere they put together what most would consider an album.

Together Tony and his team full of young creative minds want to take his dream to the next level. There working every day on music, videos, promoting and even producing. Their is no doubt that Tony E and his CAMO gang are one of the most hungry unsigned talents out.
