Top Jimmy Van Halen Tribute is a Midwest-meets-East-coast Van Halen tribute band. The band comprises of members James Wood (Lead Guitar/ Vocals), Michael Lee (Lead Vocals), Jeremy Sipos (Bass Guitar/ Vocals) and John DiTulio (Drums).
Michael and Jeremy traveled over five-hundred miles west in search of rockable companions to meet head on. The search ended in Mad City, WI when they came upon the s...ix-stringed wielding Madisonian, James Wood. Funny enough James was patiently waiting for just the right members for a Van Halen tribute band to fall into his lap. The stars seemed to align in early 2011 and Top Jimmy soon combined their forces shaking the foundations of many nearby homes by pounding out the Van Halen classics that span six amazing albums. In 2012, drummer John DiTulio also originally from the East Coast and long time Madison area musician was added. John laughed when first asked if he was familiar with Van Halen as he has the ticket stubs and crazy pictures to prove he is a rabid fan!
