Bio
Tori Jae is a rising star and creative mogul from South Coast, Massachusetts. After graduating from Georgetown University in 2018, she moved back home to resurrect her lifelong dream of being a renowned singer-songwriter and actress.
Tori's musical style is heavily inspired by Portuguese folk genres such as fado, mixed with classic Americana sounds such as rock, blues and jazz. In June 2020, she launched the official start of her singing career with her debut single "Teu Amor", which captured the intersectionality of her Azorean-American heritage with the modern day tribulations of love and romance. Since then, Tori has starred in a variety of horror and comedic short films, and has released three self-directed music videos, distinguishing her as a force to be reckoned with both on camera and behind the scenes.
In 2021, Tori has taken her pen game to the next level. She released her first self-produced track "Eu Não Sei" in the spring, followed by "Hierarchy" in the summer, a powerful post-rock/pop anthem about transcendence after heartbreak. Tori looks forward to sharing more of her musical babies this year and for many years to come.
