Tori is an up and coming artist who could fit in many genres or have her own - alternative pop, singer/songwriter, indie. Comparisons have been made calling her an "angsty Feist - getting 'angstier' as her music evolves". Tori was chosen to open for Jewel and Colbie Caillat at San Diego's Petco Park for a Stand Up to Cancer event before her first album was even available.

Biography

A Long Island native, Tori moved to California in 2003 and promptly discovered her passion for songwriting. At 18, she started playing coffee houses and busking street corners. At one of these shows, Beth Ladwig, from elliotthedog Records and Bitter Sober, heard Tori, saw her potential, signed her immediately to her label and started working on her first album. In an astonishing one month, the duo combined to record over 20 songs, 10 of which make up her debut album - "To The Moon".

Even before officially releasing a note of music, Tori was chosen to open up for Jewel and Colbie Caillat at the new Western Metal Supply Concert Series to benefit Stand Up 2 Cancer. Since that show she has shared a bill with popular acts such as Melissa Ferrick, Sia, Iron & Wine, The Belle Brigade and KD Lang.

Tori is currently busy playing shows around San Diego and in LA and is in the studio recording her sophomore album due out early in 2012.
