Bio
Tori Skene has been performing on stage from almost the time that she could walk. She began competitive Scottish Highland Dancing at the age of five. In many ways she has felt as if she has grown up on stage in front of an audience. It seems that music has always been in the center of her life. At the age of 10, Tori decided to start taking voice lessons. While traveling Tori found a love for music, and at the age of 13 retired from the Highland Dancing circuit, and began playing the guitar. This passion for music has propelled her to begin writing her own songs after she took a trip to Nashville that same year. Since then Tori has taken yearly trips to Nashville to attend NSAI writing workshops and perform any chance she can get. She finds inspiration in many situations in her everyday life with which to base many songs. Tori recently has been on a TV show in Nashville called "Nashville Spotlight." She played many writers rounds in Nashville and since then has picked up many fans. Tori also debuted at number 10 on her first week on the Tween Pop Radio. She is also featured on the regular rotation of Ladies of Country Music Radio. She has been in one of the advanced choirs in her high school for 3 years, and recently took second place in a state competition. She's played at various venues including the House of Blues, and was featured on a live webcast at Kulak's Woodshed. Tori looks forward to a future in which she can touch many more lives with her music.
