Bio

Torment Garden was formed in winter of 2008 when guitarist Greg Cochran and Bassist Tom hartwell started to jam together. With the foundation of five songs they decided to start auditioning for a singer and drummer. A few went out for out but all seemed to lack the ability or attitude to be in a serious metal band. A few calls were made and Mike "Noiz" Gill came ou to give it a shot. With extensive musical knowledge and distinct vocals, he was the obvious choice. Later Robbie "Rabbit" Gardisky joined the fray with his frantic yet refined double bass drum style that fit the songs perfectly. With all different infuences ranging from As I lay dying,to fear factory, to Quiet Riot, an interesting sound began to emerge. A few months later we played our first show with Our Malignant Beloved and Linework, two West Virginia metal veterans. Needless to say the show had mixed reviews, but that did not stop us from pushing forward to acheive our goal. Through the next year more and more shows were played, and our reputation as one of the most entertaining live bands began to grow. We then started playing in North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennesee as well as West Virginia. After the first year we gained endorsment from Axis pedals, Madison Amps, Lucky Thirteen clothing apparel, and Kerosene clothing apparel. While we are a metal band we do believe in profesionalism, and rarely cancel gigs and are never late. As for our stage show, its a now holds barred chaos filled symphony of aggresion. All of our heart and soul goes into our music and performance, and we want all of you to enjoy hearing it as much as we enjoy playing it. Love for the music and the metal scene is our top priority, and the fans we play for are always going to get 100% no matter what.
