Bio

Tornado Fish is a Northern New Jersey based band whose music is a twist on alternative rock that draws heavy influences from funk and metal. They've been making music together since 2003, and have been a band with their current line-up for almost two years. Cousins Jonathan Rivera (vocals) and Cesar Rivera (guitar) have been making music together for as long as they can remember, and decided to start a band in high school. After jamming with a few other musicians, they recruited another school-mate, Dan Errichiello, to play bass. Their first few years were filled with two drummer changes, a quick stint with a second guitarist, and two demo recordings. In 2006, while working at a grocery store, Dan met drummer Vic Cerejo, and after their current drummer departed, Tornado Fish as we know it was re-born.

Their latest release "Musica Universalis" shows tremendous growth compared to their 2006 EP from their previous line-up. The bass lines are smoother, the guitar shreds, and all ten tracks really make you want to move. They bring a vibe that sounds heavily influenced by bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, Cake, and The Used. They have played shows with some of the best bands that have toured through the scene including Kevin Patrick, Jet Lag Gemini, All Time Low, The Forever Endeavor, A Delicate Few and many more.
