TornThroughMemories

Adorning themselves with the name TornThroughMemories, four young musicians joined together in February 2010 to write music. With bands across the musical spectrum influencing each member, the four piece recorded several demos with a friend that summer before storming the local scene at their first show in September. From that point on, TTM pushed on without hesitation playing show after show. By the end of October a second guitarist was added making for a more complete sound. However, the members were not content with their sound so they decided to take a time off in November to write new material. By the end of December, TTM reemerged with better, more technical and heavier songs. Soon after, a bassist was added completing the band’s line-up. After playing numerous shows and sharing the stage with the likes of Call to Preserve, Silence, Beware the Neverending, Second Thief, and von Wolfe, TTM headed to Tritone Studios to record their first EP (slated to be released summer 2011) . Since then, the band has increased their fan base and gained popularity through their immense songs filled with heavy breakdowns, and technical abilities rivaling that of many bands. With their overall heaviness and technical capabilities combined with a stage presence full of energy, TornThroughMemories will continue to play numerous shows throughout the summer. They also plan to expand to playing in other areas of the state and possibly have their first ever tour this summer. TornThroughMemories has no intentions of going anywhere but up.
