Biography

… Is my musical/entertainment vehicle. From Baltimore MD where I learned Harmonica while traveling the region as Mascot for the BALTIMORE ORIOLES, including the 1983 World Series. I am now based in South Florida. The band was created to play a variety of American Roots music with a spirit and wreck-less abandon that attracted my partners and I to Blues, Rockabilly, Funk, and Rock and Roll. Each show is a concert with long sets, unique covers, interesting originals, inspired musicianship. Whether electric or acoustic their is always a commitment to entertain.

2007 was different as family concerns came before career interests. It is time to play again...

Cute

Written By: Clayton Goldstein/ToST

She' not from Los Angeles, Not from Timbaktu,
She's from somewhere between, Bakersfield and Kalamazoo,
Not nearly married, really has no job,
Just living on her cutes cause she won't lie, she won't rob she is

Cute to the Extreme, Cute to the extreme,
From the sloppy side of clean
to the nice side of mean,
she is cute to the extreme.

Let's talk about her brain, that's what makes her run,
That's what put her all together, that's what makes her fun,
Living in bars at seventeen, sober at twenty one,
now a glas of wine, toke a bud, she'll tell you when she's done,

She is, Cute to the Extreme, Cute to the extreme,
From the sloppy side of clean
to the nice side of mean she is cute to the extreme.

Why don't I hold her,
Why don't I love her,
Why don't I take her out for weekends at a time,
Why do I hem and haw when she makes me food to eat,
She says these things so sweet, I must be out of my mind...

No accounting for good taste she says I caught her eye,
Lit her fire, spun her world, I think I'm going to cry,
Good women they don't grow on trees, a rare and special kind,
Next time I see her I'm going to shave, I just may be on time cause she is..

Cute to the Extreme, Cute to the extreme,
From the sloppy side of clean
to the nice side of mean she is cute to the extreme.

I'm going to hold her,
I'm going to love her,
I'm going to take her out for years at a time,
I'm clean the dishes when she makes me strudel to eat,
She says these things so sweet, I amd going out of my mind...

Cute to the Extreme, Cute to the extreme,
From the sloppy side of clean on the nice side of mean she is cute to the extreme.

Ballad of Casey

Written By: Clayton Goldstein/ToST

The night before the Dogwood Parade,
Casey's life was about to change,
Like many cataclysmic type of events,
you don't know what fate had arranged.

Everyboy was in a festive mood,
Song, Magaritas and food,

Kids were flying, parents trying,
desprately to find the groove,
Casey wasn't asked, Casey wasn't told,
Sometimes a kid doesn't get a choice when...

(Chorus) Her Mama meets a Man...
Casey's Mama met a man
Casey's Mama just met me.

A bright sunny morning and the Dogwood Parade
Casey's a celebrity.
Selling Hot Dogs, sodas, to all the people,
She even sold a couple to me,

Casey looked like a Princess,
Her mom looked like a queen,

Shriners drove their go-carts
around and around at Mach one speed.
Casey started seeing it, she could not believe it, this is her day of infamy...

(Chorus)...Because Her Mama Met a Man,
Casey's Mama met a man,
Casey's mama had just met me.

(Bridge)
Men & Mama, don't work out,
Daddy & Mama used to scream and shout,
I know what that look is all about,
Don't tresspass on, my family,
Let me and my Mama be.

But your mama met a man....
Casey's Momma met a man,
Casey's Mama had just met me.

A lifetime since the Dogwood Parade,
Summertime and Casey go well together.
Lazy hazy mornings without any rules,
Hot sweaty summertime weather,

All the tourists have arrived,
Like Aliens from the sky,

Water park, lip gloss, putt, putt, putt,
Another driver could be a good thing!
Casey started choosing it, Casey started using it,
The kid's not a dummy, she could see,

(Chorus) Her Mama met a man...
Casey's Mama met a man,
Casey's Mama had just met me...

(Bridge)
Men & Mama, don't work out,
Daddy & Mama used to scream and shout,
I know what that look is all about,
You're tresspassing on, my family,
You can't have my Mama for free
You're going to have to take along me...

Casey, your Mama met a man,
Casey's Mama met a man,
Casey's mama just met me,

You better set the table for three.

Toes

Written By: Clayton Goldstein

Toes

Treat your toes like diamonds,
Be sure they stay shiney and bright
I want to see you floating on those toes tonight

Jump back sream and shout shake your money maker.
Give your mama credit she's a kick ass baker
Donut eyes, strawbery lips, muffin behind those eclair hips,
Legs kept fresh in airtight hose
Warm cookie tummy and those cherry toes...

Treat your toes like diamonds,
Be sure they stay shiney and bright
I want to see you floating on those toes tonight

There's peril in the streets these days,
Everywhere you go your toes lead the way
Girls are deadly in their high heel pumps
everyone's at risk when the big man jumps
The sewer and the gutter overflow
with little tiny creatures who may bite your toes...

Treat your toes like diamonds,
Be sure they stay shiney and bright
I want to see you dancing on those toes tonight

When you wake up buttercup, get out of bed,
Watch where you walk don't kick the bed
I don't want to hear that you're missing the show,
Cause earlier you went and stubbed your toes...

Treat your toes like diamonds,
Be sure they stay shiney and bright
I want to see you floating on those toes tonight

Satisfied

Written By: Norman Jackson, Clayton Goldsten

I'm satisfied with my baby,
I'm satisfied with the girl,
I'm satisfied with my baby,
I wonder if she's really satisfied.

I know I work sometimes 14 hours,
When I get home I go right to bed
She stay up and take care of the kids and everything,
I wonder if she's really satsfied.

I know she work around the house,
She tries to please me everyway,
I ask how I can please her,
She just smiles and she walks away.

I'm satisfied with my baby,
I'm satisfied with the girl,
I'm satisfied with my baby,
I wonder if she's really satisfied.

I know I should do more around the house,
But I have to sing sometime everyday,
But I love her she do her best I know she really do,
I just wonder if she's really satisfied.

I'm satisfied with my baby,
I'm satisfied with the girl,
I'm satisfied with my baby,
I wonder if she's really satisfied.
I wonder if she's really satisfied.
I wonder if she's really satisfied.
