EP - Land of Chaos (2005)
Single - I'm Alright:received airplay on 96.7 FM in Windsor, Ontario

Totarus was born late in 2004, when singer/guitarist Caley Beneteau met bassist John Mazurek, and original guitarist CJ Hurley, at a Riverside School of Music show in Windsor, Ontario. The three immediately realized that there was a definite chemistry between them and decided to start creating music together. It was then that John suggested bringing in longtime friend, and drummer from his previous band, Marcel Belanger. The band began rehearsing and writing original material in Marcel's basement. The jam room was a tiny room where the guys would have to duck in order to stand fully upright. Although the jam space was small, the instruments gave birth to an even larger sound. Armed with 4 songs fresh off the press, the band was invited to play their first gig in a gymnasium at a community center in Windsor. After a year of playing progressively larger bar gigs, and festivals around the Windsor-Essex County area, the band decided it was time to record a full length album, with all of the songs they had written up to that point. To accomplish this, the guys headed to Polaris Studios to begin recording. One month later, the final, mastered project was finished. It was also at this time that original guitarist CJ Hurley, was dismissed from the band. Soon after, the search began for his replacement as the second guitarist in the band. The unfilled gap was quickly patched up with new found guitarist Nick Kolevski, who has been described by the band as, "The final piece of the puzzle". The band continues to gig around the southern Ontario area, and their most recent accomplishment came in winning a battle of the bands at a teen suicide prevention benefit show. This allowed the band free recording time as well as airplay on the local radio station 96.7 CHYR FM. It also gave them the opportunity to play with Ashes Of Soma, whom also currently reside within the Windsor area and have made quite the name for themselves and our city.
