Bio
Born Tara West, 2nd of June, in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. A rapper, singer, producer, actress, and CEO of H.M.E. is widely touted for her vocal aptitude and intensity. Touch has been a singer since the age of three. Her ambition as a child was always evident, and she soon entered neighbourhood singing/rapping competitions and talent shows in high school. Touch decided early on that she wanted to pursue a career as a musical performer following in the footsteps of her mother and grandfather who had made it to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Touch made a name for herself by staying in the underground scene working with artists such as Gadbo, One Baby, Diztruktif, and Doc Nasty. Early supporters and fellow artists encouraged her and urged her to try her luck in persuing a record deal with a top record label. She had been turned down, however, such rejections were only a short-term problem. After being declined by several labels, she decided it was time to invest in herself and formed her own label, Hush Moment Entertainment, LLC. with long time friend and collaborator Hush. Touch (formerly T. West and Lady McManus) signed to H.M.E., under her own direction, in 2005. Her newest projects include her hip hop album, Black'd Out and being lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist of the all girl rock band she helped form, Sarin.
