Bio

Formed in 2003, TOWNLINE wants to show the world that good old fashioned rock and roll is not dead. Consisting of Serena Prine (lead vocals), Nicolas Lesyk (guitars), Greg Zack (bass) and Allan Colavecchia (drums, vocals), this quartet fuses vintage rock and roll, blues and contemporary rhythms. They have had beyond average success, sharing stages with some of the music’s hottest acts including The Trews, Three Days Grace, Grady, Queens of the Stone Age, Thornley and Ted Nugent.

In February 2005, TOWNLINE picked up and moved to Austin, Texas to begin writing and pre-production for their much anticipated debut release. While spending time in the Lone Star State, the band co-wrote a track with Guns’n’Roses guitar slinger Gilby Clarke, while another song, “The Cool” was a gift from good friend and U2 mega producer, Daniel Lanois.

Serena Prine is Townline’s rock vocalist extraordinaire. Singing since the age of 3, her influences include The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Serena is also one of Townline's main songwriters.

Nicolas Lesyk, who grabs the guitar by his teeth (literally) became a musician at the age of nine. A key contributor to the band’s songwriting, Nick drives the band's unique sound.

Greg Zack lays down his own brand of rhythmic and pulsating basslines with influences from John Paul Jones and John Entwistle.

Allan Colavecchia has spent the last twenty years honing his craft and is now a proud endorsee of Sabian cymbals and Yamaha Drums.
