Bio
Tow The Line is a Dallas based rock band that has cultivated a sound that gives off not only creative energy, but a real feel of passion for the music. In 2007 founding members guitarist David Lusk and vocalist Ryan Kohler, both formerly of the San Diego bands Swallowed and Gen 13, began working on new material. The need and desire to fill the band out with a rhythm section became apparent after performing for local audiences in the Dallas area. Ryan and David began an exhausting search for a drummer and bassist that would fit with their creativity and sense of purpose. The band's lineup has been solidified with Darren Doyle on drums and Daddio on bass. Tow The Line draws influence from rock, blues, R& B, metal, and any genre of song that has the presence of it. It being musicians that make beautiful music that relate the human experience. Notable influences include Steely Dan, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin, and Metallica. Along with writing and arranging great songs, Tow The Lines live performance conveys energy that showcases the bands relationship with their fans. Tow The Line is ready to bring their music and performance to a larger audience, aided with the positive support of fans and the growing momentum of the band. Music can be interpreted as a representation of life. The line is the path in life we all choose to walk. Our chosen path is music.
