TPK BISHOP A

History

TPK BISHOP A is a native of Houston, Texas. He grew up watching his mother and her brothers' band, “The Funk Factor”, performing at local Houston parties and night clubs. He accredits a great deal of his love for music to that time in his life. He started out in hip-hop while in high school with a rap/dance group he put together called the "Cola Boys". This group was known for their ability to hype any high school party scene

Mission

After completing a professional football and track carrier, TPK BISHOP A was inspired to get back involved in music. After doing so, he developed a passion to create party music that would positively affect the world. The purpose of this music would be to allow people around the world to experience a party atmosphere that would be filled with dancing and positive energy.

Past Accomplishments

After two years of preparation, on February 25, 2005 TPK BISHOP A officially started his career as a hip-hop music artist with his first hit dance single entitled "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes". This song inspired people to take authority over themselves and their physical body from the Head to the Toes and has a dance to help them express this authority. This single played on local radio stations in Ohio, California and Texas. It has also played worldwide on internet sites like myspace, black planet and sound click. It was rated number 1 on sound click several times, and continued to stay on top of the sound click charts for over a year. Because of this dance songs popularity TPK BISHOP A has had the opportunity to perform in several events throughout Texas and Georgia. This song has also allowed him to be interviewed on several radio stations.

Present Projects

After the success of HSK&T BISHOP A started the Hip-Hop Party League and officially released another dance single entitled Wash-N-Machine on March 23, 2008. This 4 version single has allowed them to perform throughout Georgia in events like the Sweet Auburn Festival, Heritage Festival and in the stage play “Be Very Careful What You Pray For”. They have also performed in venues like Studio 72, The Atrium, Club Paradise, The Red Shoe, Club Da Vinci, The Last Great Watering Hole and at Georgia State University. They were interviewed on 89.3 in Atlanta and on Dirty South TV. They also recorded a live video for the Regular Wash version of the Wash-N-Machine. On 9/23/09 they released a double compilation entitled "Unleash The Beast The Album" and "Freedom Party" co-produced by TPK BISHOP A. Songs from these albums have been featured on MTV shows like Real World Cancun series 1, 6 & 7. They were also recently featured on Real World DC, Bad Girls Club and Taking The Stage. Both compilations feature BISHOP A and some of the Hip-Hop Party League associates like, TRAY-DAE, Mystory, Nicole and Versitile (Producer of both Albums). Future Projects

He is due to release his new single entitled The American Dream (featuring Houstons Own Billy Cook) in January of 2011. This is the single to his first solo album entitled Big Night At The Club
