I am a contemporary pop songwriter. My songs are carefully crafted until I believe I have a solid song. Then I get talented musicians to record and produce it. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: My songs are for web, films, TV, commercials, or pop bands looking for a great song.

Biography

I have had songs picked up by the Walt Disney Company, and my songs are included in the song catalog of "Free Tibet Music Publishing" — a unique "political song only" publishing company.

Piece of the Pie

PIECE OF THE PIE

Verse1: We live uncertain, we’re a little battle-scarred.
So many hurtin’, Has the world become sharp, like shattered glass? We could get a fresh start, With an open heart, We could find a better way.

Chorus: We could fly, away to brand new places. We’d soar high, ready for some changes. We could sail away, we could fly. So high away, above the sky. Where everyone’s got a piece of the pie.

Verse2: We’re always searching, we’re never still It’s simply our nature, It’s who we are, it’s who we are… We can find our wings, Do anything, If we believe, we can try.

REPEAT CHORUS

Bridge: Feels so beautiful, seems so clear, Everything’s free, up here…

REPEAT CHORUS End: We can fly so high, we can fly.

Reminds Me Of You

Written By: Tracey Pettis

The timer on my refrigerator,
stuck forever to cold metal,
Went off with a squeal,
Reminds me of you.

The green carpet in my room,
Squishes slightly from my toes,
Then bounces back composed,
Reminds me of you.

We fell in love for a short time,
I thought it was the real thing,
In love I was blind,
but that’s the way it’s always been.

Ooo you, reminds me of, ooo like you.

I pick up my toothbrush
And smile in the mirror,
I laugh at my reflection,
Reminds me of you.

I switch on the radio,
And hear some ghastly news.
Turns out to be a false alarm,
Reminds me of you.

Ooo you, reminds me of, ooo like you.

We fell in love, felt so free,
I thought it was the real thing,
True love casualty,
But that’s the way it’s been for me.

I slip on the wet floor,
Leftovers from the night before,
Disaster in the making,
Reminds me of you.

I glance at the clock,
Its face forever changing.
I see it’s getting late,
Reminds me of you.

We fell in love for a short time,
I thought it was the real thing,
They say love is blind,
but that’s the way it’s always been.

Sometime this morning,
The sun poked through this gray day,
Said hello and goodbye the same way,
Reminds me of you.
It just reminds me of you.

Dancin' To The Radio

Written By: Tracey Pettis

I remember dancin’ to the radio,
Times were fast, revolution was slow
Feeling high when the lights were low,
Dancin’ to the radio.

We were dancing, dancing, dancing,
dancing, dancing to the radio.
Life gets easier, don’t you know,
when you’re dancing to the radio.

I remember dancing with two left feet,
Had to move when we felt the beat,
Taste your cheek so bittersweet,
Dancin to the radio.

We were dancing, dancing, dancing,
dancing, dancing to the radio.
Life gets easier, don’t you know,
When you’re dancing to the radio.

The world is falling, change is everywhere.
But the radio’s calling, selling promise on the air.

I remember dancin’ to the radio,
It doesn’t seem so long ago,
Everybody from chateau to bungalow,
Was dancing to the radio.

We were dancing, dancing, dancing,
dancing, dancing to the radio.
Life gets easier, don’t you know,
when you’re dancing to the radio.
