BandCountrySinger/Songwriter

Contemorary country sound with classic country heart and soul. Driving melodies and honest lyrics. A simple but sincere writer.

Biography

A college drop-out. Two years ago that's all you could really say about her career. Now, after a series of amazing events...there are a few other things to know about this new face in country music. Earlier this year Stanley produced and released her very first album, titled, "Right Here." She's opened for the likes of Ty Herndon, Josh Gracin, Kelli Pickler, and most recently, LeAnn Rimes and Kenny Chesney. Stanley is truly an artist, taking her writing very seriously. She has written 9 out the 10 tracks on her new album, and continues to create. Her honest lyrics and driving melodies do exactly what they are supposed to do - they stick with you. The energy of her live shows stick with you, too. Her wit and charm are instant crowd pleasers as she rocks out contemporary country and rockabily tunes. Not to mention that the sincerity of her ballads just won't let you go. Stanley is a writer and a performer to be reckoned with...and so much more than a college drop-out.

Lyrics

Red Light Kiss

Written By: Traci Ann Stanley

1. Red Light Kiss
Verse 1
Sometimes I drive so fast I drive right past
All the places I really want to go
But with you sitting next to me with you rubbing on my knee
You make me want to go real slow
Cause’ we can leave it all behind let ourselves unwind
Throw rushing out the window tonight
I just want to lean on you let that sky turn deeper blue
Baby let’s take our time
Chorus
Yeah let’s drive to the edge of town see what there is to see then whip it around
And we can do it all again just to try to find what we missed
Because usually I pray they’re all green but tonight I don’t care
Slide on over for a red light kiss
Verse 2
Yeah you’re looking like a flirt in your black and white shirt
All the other girls want to be me
They’re looking at you driving by but they ain’t goanna’ catch your eye
That one I can guarantee
So let the summertime in let the evening begin
Yeah baby we can set the pace
I just want to take my time and steal your kisses cause’ they’re mine
Tonight we ain’t in a race
Repeat Chorus
Last Chorus
Yeah let’s drive to the edge of town see what there is to see then whip it around
And we can do it all again just to try to find what we missed
We can even turn the radio down just listen to the wheels roll on the ground
Cause’ I’ve been waiting all week for a lazy Saturday like this
Because usually I pray they’re all green but tonight I don’t care
Slide on over for a red light kiss
Yeah usually I pray they’re all green but tonight I don’t care
Slide on over for a red light kiss

Right Here

Written By: Traci Ann Stanley

5. Right Here
Verse 1
I can’t lay here staring at the ceiling anymore
And I don’t want to think these thoughts about the man that I adore
I can’t feel this way over you
The one, the one I thought I knew so well
All I can tell is
Chorus
I’ve got to get up, get out, get moving
In another direction that isn’t you
Cause’ I can’t let myself hate the way I felt about us
I won’t be sick at the thought of it
Or empty at the bottom in a world of my own fear
I’m going get up and let the heartache lay right here
Verse 2
If I leave the tears there on the pillow
They won’t be on my skin
But the next time that I try to sleep
They might have to fall again
I can’t cry this way over you
The man, the man I thought I knew so well
All I can tell is
Repeat Chorus
