Bio

Tracie Marsh is unique artist who sings while playing the upright/electric bass and does a combination of jazz, pop, and soul music. Originally from the Seattle area, Tracie has traveled the world performing music including a most recent tour out to the Chicago area in 2011. She has been performing music since age 5, playing the bass nearly twenty years, and she holds a bass performance degree from WSU.

After college, Tracie moved with her husband to Boston MA and played in several bands, including winning the principal bass position in The New Hampshire Philharmonic Orchestra. She then worked 4 years aboard cruise ships playing for large productions and entertainers such as The Platters, The Drifters and many other Las Vegas acts.

Since moving to Kitsap in 2005, Tracie has been a 1st call bassist/singer playing in several bands with top Seattle musicians. Tracie’s current projects include; Soul Siren Band, Jazz Canvas and the Tracie Marsh Band. Recently, she has released a long-awaited CD called “Reflections” which contains music that reflects special times or cherished people throughout her life. The album also features some of the finest musicians in the Puget Sound region.

There is something amazingly sexy and powerful about a skilled beautiful woman playing the upright bass. This wicked combination of feel good music and a band that is devastatingly hip and talented would be perfect in any high class martini bar, music festival, or concert.
