Bio

Born William Alex Routt, Alex Trackstar, has re-birthed traditional music. Diversely inspired with musical styles that vary from Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins, to Busta Rhymes, Trackstar completes his race of creative artistry with the tenacity of an Olympic athlete.

Trackstars' first performances were in talent shows before the age of 10, and by 13 years old he was well on his way to mastering the guitar. His greatest achievement to date is his first EP, "Opportunity Clock," where he penned all the lyrics, played every instrument, engineered and produced all alone in his basement. Track describes "Opportunity Clock" as "the weirdest, most diabolical, aggressive, pop, mass appeal, abstract, scary and accessible jewel of crap that hip-hop heads and 14 year old white cheerleaders can listen to and love!" God is given all the credit for the inspiration of "Opportunity Clock," says Trackstar, "God whispered the whole thing in my ear".

Growing up in a small Northwest Georgia town, Track credits his work ethic to supportive parents and to God which together taught him the concept of hard work, and appreciation for the character that hard work builds. His middle class upbringing has instilled in him a tremendous work ethic and dedication to his craft. Trackstar hopes his music will inspire kids to desire knowledge and reach for higher goals in life.

Look for Trackstars' new project, "Cock Strong" completed early Summer of 2004; a massive collaboration with PaRock Productions that will serve up a creative yet stylish blend which incorporates flavor from every genre of musical influence. "Cock Strong" will launch Trackstar into his very own prolific platform simply because of its overall creative genuineness. When asked what makes his music different, Trackstars reply was simple and to the point, "I make music for the people who make and love music, and I do whatever the hell I want at the time!" Is anyone REALLY ready for Alex Trackstar?
