TRACY'S MUSIC is the VOICE of God! Continue to sing from your heart!
Reviewer: Sharon Williams
Anyone who rides in my car gets a personal introduction to the cd, such an outstanding and superb selection of music. A little something for everyone. I gave my personal copy to my keyboardists, encouraged other friends to purchase as well, and will order another for myself! I look forward to the next project.

This was yet one of the best CD's I've heard. Congrats on a job well done. The entire CD is AWESOME. Still I Rise has always been one of my favorites (a testimony for me), but after hearing Tracy sing it all I can say is WOW what a powerful voice. I'm really enjoying Tracy's CD. It's a pleasure to hear songs that are postive and upbuilding. I was impressed with the music and lyrics. Tracy has a strong beautiful voice. I'm very happy and excited for her. I love all the songs, my favorites are "Because I Am Special", "Seasons" and Tracy's rendition of "Still I Rise". Anyone who'll listen to the CD, will have their own favorite songs that they can relate to. Don't miss out on something very special.

You've Done It!
Reviewer: Michelle Donnell
WOW! I totally loved Seasons! I let my husband listen to it and now I need to buy one for myself because he won't give it back! My favorite song is A Place Called Home. The song brings me to tears because it's so well lyrically and musically written, and her beautiful voice is the icing on the cake. I've always liked Yet Still I Rise, but Tracy took it to another level. Been There, Done That is my favorite ATTITUDE song! Excellent work!

Absolutely Outstanding!!!

Tracy is an ageless talent that seems to have been around forever. The time has come for the entire world to experience and enjoy the phenomenal, soulful singing of this talented artist. All of the tracks on the CD can be listened to and enjoyed over and over again, however, A Place Called Home and Still I Rise showcase her vocal richness, versatility and range. Seasons is smooth as butter and sends you to a relaxing place and Been There, Done That is funky and sassy just like Tracy. She is a diva and deserves all of the accolades that are sure to come. Watch out world here comes Tracy Hamlin!

Great debut
Reviewer: Harry Spelt
In recent years Tracy was featured on various cd's as a guest vocalist. Now she made her debut as a solo artist and it is a great debut. Besides a very gifted singer Tracy turns out to be a fine composer too, the songs she (co-)wrote are among the best songs on the album. There is not a bad song on this cd. In my opinion the ballads "A place called home" , "again" and "Still I rise" are the highlights. The musicians on this album are among the best, Gerald Veasley, David Dyson, Najee, James Lloyd, Chris Harmon, John Stoddart etc. Check it out and you won't be disappointed -

"A Mike Joyce Review"

Baltimore vocalist Tracy Hamlin joined the ensemble toward the end of its 90-minute set. She displayed a voice capable of reaching Patti Labelle-like heights and a flair for performing inspirational ballads that build to a dramatic pitch. - The Washington Post

"Even in Trinidad"

Female lead singer Tracy Hamlin's powerful voice ranged from sweet and low to thrilling heights on Songs like Still I Rise, Devotion and My Funny Valentine. - The Trinidan Guardian

"Most Outstanding...."

Ms. Tracy Hamlin is undoubtedly the most outstanding female vocalist Pieces of a Dram has ever featured. -

"Breathtaking vocals"

"Devotion," which was laid down in 1974 by Earth, Wind and Fire. As rendered by Pieces [of a Dream] it is hot, with a heavy beat and rich soulful vocals by Tracy Hamlin. It is breathtaking. - The Toledo Blade
