"Thankless Son honorable mention"

Date: 10/5/2008 8:17:55 AM
Status: Not Selected
Response: I want to thank you all for submitting! This was the best month of submissions so far. I am going to start listing runnerups with their Sonic Bids links in my newsletter..The winner has been chosen for September and will appear in The Music City Beat! newsletter and for all of 2008 at Sonicbids and TennesseeConcerts. Winners are added to the newsletter list and you can get it as well by emailing me at Gary@TennesseeConcerts.com. As a member of The Charlie Daniels Band & JJ Cale, I realize the importance of getting the right song to the right artist. JJ Cale's manager sent The Gambler to Kenny Rogers 3 times before he cut the biggest record of his career under protest. All submissions are listened to by me personally and shared with like minded artists, labels, managers, promoters and publishers.
It's all about perseverence here in Music City. Never look at the odds! Good Luck and keep churning them out. My boss JJ Cale just won a Grammy for his Road To Escondido with Eric Clapton last year!

Thankless Son has done their homework. Six months of rehearsal is really paying off. The band is tight, we will rock your club. We have a mix of classic rock; ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Bozz Scags, John Melencamp and many others. We also have a nice selection of originals; Give This Honky a Ride, Season for You, You Don't Know, to name a few. Give us a listen and please offer feedback. We are very serious in doing a professional job, so we do welcome and appreciate your input.
