"NEXT BIG THING OF THE MONTH ( AUGUST)"

We were voted as the AlternativeAddiction.com next big thing for the month of August. - Alternative Addiction

"Review for Las Vegas Rock n' Roll Marathon"

“You won’t know what hit you as Tragedy X delivers solid rock beats with a unique sound that is anything but a tragedy.” – Competitor.com, December 2009 - Competitor.com

"Concert review at Hard Rock Hotel/Casino, Las Vegas"

“Great lyrics, best Nevada band, and classic performance. This band has something special stirring within. The lion is going to roar…” – Project Rock Warrior, June 2010 - Project Rock Warrior

"Radio Promotion Review"

“Tragedy X embodies hard rock at its core. With hard hitting drum sections and violent guitar chords the intensity of this band is obvious from the first note and persists throughout the entire EP. Tim Lehan's vocal delivery is brilliant as he walks the line between screaming chaos and emotional singing without compromising the intensity and passion of the overall sound, which is likable to that of Breaking Benjamin. Every musician in Tragedy X is clearly skilled as all of their songs take many instrumental turns involving complex drum fills and rhythmic bass and guitar sections. Overall this EP is quite a success and more and fulfills Tragedy X's mission to produce pure modern hard rock.” – Bryan Farrish Promotions, June 2010 - Richard Henderson

"CD Review for "Dying to Let Go" (Bury Me)"

"'Bury Me' is a powerful piece that highlights Lehan's singing abilities as he weaves between harsh, almost yelling tones and low, melodic singing. Marked by the quintessential hard rock drum, bass and guitar sections that define the Tragedy X's sound, this song is sure to have rock fans jumping up and down and should be made sure to be played at high volume." - Richard Henderson, Bryan Farrish Promotions (June 2010) - Bryan Farrish Promotions

"CD Review for "Dying to Let Go" EP (Liquid Love)"

"'Liquid Love' is highly intense song that always in control of the sound that it produces. As it progresses and builds to the hook, there are moments where it seems that Lehman will just go nuts and start yelling uncontrollably; however, the hook itself is quite the opposite of this as the instrumentation and vocals are clearly segmented, giving off the feeling of stability in the chaotic world that they create." - Richard Henderson, Bryan Farrish Promotions (June 2010) - Bryan Farrish Promotions

Bio

Tragedy X began in 2008 when frontman Tim Lehan, after taking a break from music and relocating to Las Vegas, got an itch to start writing again. Not long after Tim had a handful of songs, he met guitarist Andy Marciniak. The two hit it off right away and began laying down their ideas. Drummer Matt St. John joined the band in December of 2008 and bassist David DeRooy came aboard in March of 2009. Since then, Tragedy X has been playing regularly in and around the Las Vegas area. To compliment their live show and add another dimension to their sound, Tragedy X recently acquired guitarist John Vojta in early 2010.

After devoting the first couple months of 2010 to the completion of their 4-song EP entitled Dying to Let Go, Tragedy X has been able to bring their live show back out with a solid recording in hand. Tragedy X finished recording the tracks for this EP at Hit Track Studios in Las Vegas, NV under engineer Tom Parham and producer David St. John in April of 2010.

There’s no dramatic, over-exaggerated story behind the creation of Tragedy X. Simply put, Tragedy X writes familiarly-structured, melodic, hard rock songs that are lyrically intimate and fun to listen to…plain and simple. The passion and simplicity, coupled with the high energy performance that Tragedy X delivers, is modern rock music in its purest form.
