Bio
It was a slow start. In Charlie's bedroom studio a scale was drawn between two extremes of where trail's sound felt most drawn. Coldplay? too wet and samey. Guns n'roses? overcooked and 90s. Could there be a middle ground where rock could be both subtle and tough sounding?
8 months in the making, first song, "I Want to Know" showcased everything this band wanted to be. From the hypnotic drum beat and menacing bass line which sucks the listener in, to the spine tingling guitar licks and gritty melodic vocals, the song builds to an epic crashing finale that takes no prisoners. Sounding like nothing else out there, yet immediately identifiable, the song set the template for the Trail sound. More followed, the stirring piano-led "Worry Free", the haunting "Rest of the world" and the anthemic "Who You Are".
Gigging regularly around London, winning fans wherever they play, it is only a matter of time before the buzz gets louder and the venues get bigger.
