ABC’s GREY’S ANATOMY TO FEATURE SONG FROM EMERGING ALT-COUNTRY BAND TRAILDRIVER

(Los Angeles, CA) – 10/05/09 -- Traildriver, an emerging Alternative Country band will have their new song “I Want You Now” featured on the October 15th episode of ABC’s hit show “Grey’s Anatomy”.

“We’re thrilled with this placement and hope it’s the start of many exciting things to come for us,” says bassist Anna Rosales. “Our album “Music From A Small Room” will release this fall and we look forward to a possible trip to Austin, Texas to play at the celebrated South by Southwest Music Festival, along with tour dates throughout the United States and Europe.”

Traildriver features Jared Petrich (vocals, guitars, harmonica), Keith Palmer (drums, harmonies) and Anna Rosales (bass, harmonies). Inspired by many artists and genres, the band’s unique alt-country/rock style has quickly earned them a cult following in their home city of Los Angeles and across Southern California.

"We bring different and overlapping backgrounds and influences with us when we write,” says Keith Palmer. “Coming at the music from so many different angles makes our collaboration unique, yet we'll often reach for the same idea at the same time.”

"Grey’s Anatomy" airs Thursday, October 15 at 8 pm on ABC. Please check local listings. Traildriver’s song “I Want You Now” is available now on MySpace.com, Itunes and Amazon.com.

Bio

On the moonlit patio of a courtyard café in Santa Monica, California, Traildriver was borne of a regular Sunday-evening singer-songwriter appreciation society. Jared Petrich and Keith Palmer uncovered a musical kinship there, creating a melodic eclectic mix of Americana, Alt-country, Indie rock, Country and Folk music.

The band is inspired by a myriad of music: The Beatles, Dylan, The Band, The Pogues, Tom Petty, Tom Waits, and Ryan Adams to name a few."We bring different and overlapping backgrounds and influences with us when we write. Coming at the music from different angles makes our collaboration unique, yet we'll often reach for the same idea at the same time." (says Keith)

The band is currently recording and producing their forthcoming album Music from a Small Room and the experience has been one filled with discovery. "When you've been living with the songs, playing them live and daydreaming of what other elements you might infuse them with for so long, the studio is luxurious." (says Jared). "The structure of the song is already constructed and reinforced, so then it becomes 'What color are you going to paint the house?'"

Ever-conscious that the best art stems from those who do what they love and remain true to that, they look forward to playing at any bar full of regulars compelled to sing along. And as their music becomes well-received by a wider audience, they are happy to share it...
