"Anshuman Iddamsetty"

Noisy and unpredictable, the songs in [Hope You Didn't Sleep On the Violator] spiral out of control with frenetic hooks and alley-cat sneers of singer Jon Hynes. Bandmates Jamie March and Anthony Brenton show no problems keeping up with the vocals, bring a groove that will force you to boogie no matter what your mood. - The Muse

"Eric Hill"

Trashy but tight, with a passion for singing through tiny megaphones and a talent for imagining Yes-style progressive rock as though it developed as mid-80s garage post-punk. The songs have elliptical lyrics with multi-interpretative meanings, not unlike Pavement, with more of an attraction to girls than crossword puzzles. Musically they lean towards the complex end of the spectrum, though not in the cramming as many chords/time changes in three and a half minutes kind of way. The songs are songs, not hangers for riffs. - Exclaim!

"Rhiannon Thomas"

Punk rock is definetly at the core of what these guys are doing.
- The Current

"Junofest"

This high energy, hard rock trio from St. John's has what it takes to keep an audience dancing the night away. Jonathan Hynes (guitar and vocals), Anthony Brenton (bass) and Jamie March (drums and cymbals) produce a dynamic sound that is influenced from all sides of the musical spectrum. - Junofest Programme Guide

Bio

Trailer Camp consists of four twenty-something year olds. One hates staying up past midnight. Another barely eats. Neither of them shower very much. They play music because it is both fun and exciting. Performing live is their enigmatic forte, bursting forth loud, raw energy to anyone nice enough to watch them. Their music is dynamic and all over the place. In the span of 15 seconds you will hear influences from other sides of the musical spectrum, condensed and neatly packaged into something absorbant and tangible. They have written a vast collection of songs in their four years of playing together, most of them being released over the course of two demos, two full-lengths, a tour ep and a split 7”. Since their inaugural show at the Upstairs in December 2002, their show count has undeniably past the 200 mark; performing everywhere in the St. John’s area and across Newfoundland as well as playing numerous dates up to and including Peterborough, Ontario. Recently, they released a split 7” vinyl record with their summer 2005 tourmates The Black Bags, played a showcase at Junofest 2006 in Halifax and underwent the first lineup change since February 2003. They currently have plans to release another full-length by early next summer and to tour in support of said release all next summer.
