"Prism - single review"

'an incredible, accesible and contagious single that should find favour with indie rock fans the world over, if the album is half as good as this it's going to be a stone cold classic.' - Rhythm & Booze

"Prism - single review"

'The melody is inviting and hones the temptation to press the ‘play again’ option more times than is perhaps reasonable to admit' - Whisperin & Hollerin

"Prism - single review"

'Prism is a colossal calling card' - Losing Today

"Prism - single review"

'...all combining to create one supremely radio friendly and hummable track. They could be inescapable this time next year.' - Rock Pulse

Bio

Take one smooth pop crooner and add a bit of grit, crack open a blues guitarist that's never permitted to play the blues and beat one frustrated rock riffer together with a bass player with a weakness for West Coast harmony. Finally blend in a twist of Belgian drummer with a knack for killer grooves. Consume in a secure environment where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself and you might just get Trail.

Charlie, Alex, Eireann, Simon and Minco started out by building a fanbase and a steady buzz the old fashioned way... online and without playing a single gig for the first 6 months. But in 2008 their bedroom demos caught the attention of loyal listeners around the world who invested their own money towards the making of Trail's first album. The band flew to LA to record with multi-platinum producer Matt Wallace (Maroon 5 / Faith No More).

The resulting album entitled To The Rest of The World has won critical acclaim from national publications such as Kerrang!, Music Week and Clash Magazine, multiple plays on national and regional UK radio and has seen several tracks featured in TV shows on Sky Sports and Channel 4. In December 2010, Sony Electronics approached the band with a request to use their song Back Home. The resulting deal will see it pre-loaded on every Sony mp3 player made in 2011 - All 10 million of them.

The intensity of To the Rest of the World's atmospheric and euphoric rock is brought to life during Trail's live shows. As Clash magazine's live review noted: "The most important thing is just how convincing these guys are - You believe in the songs because the band clearly do, too. They give it their all, they have too. because thats how bands start out and get noticed. And if they keep it up, it's sure to pay off." With gigs scheduled throughout 2011 both in the UK and mainland Europe, Trail fully intend to.

"Full of catchy hooks and haunting melodies, held together by sumptuous production" Music Week

"Strong stuff indeed" Kerrang!
