Bio

Having hovered just below the radar for the better part of a year,  Milwaukee-based Trance Halo has returned firmly in time for the dawn of the decade.   With a new lineup and a masterful sophomore EP, We keep our secrets safe, the band is intent on making its presence known.

After 2009 saw the departure of two members, remaining founding members Belle and London rallied,  simultaneously pouring their efforts into finishing the new EP and rebuilding the band with welcome new additions: lead guitarist Christ Radomski and drum punisher Russ Fink (both formerly of Milwaukee metal band Evel).   Soon, the scarred musical landscape started sprouting new growth.   According to the band: "This is really a turning point.  We feel like we have evolved past the point of having to prove ourselves musically, but at the same time we have a new spark that makes us excited to keep making better music."

Make no mistake - the new EP should leave no question as to the musical potential and power of this group.   From the WKOSS title track, to the epic drama of King's Cross, and through the more sedate moods of Radiate, the album evokes an aural and emotional depth seldom heard outside of the major labels.   Of course, it helps that the band has a very large cache of recording weaponry at its disposal... not the least of which have been collaborations with Burst HQ masterminds Daniel Holter and Kyle White.

With its new-found liberation, the quartet is locked and loaded to bring new music to the live venue at the start of the year.  New offerings from the tH camp are taking on a decidedly heavier, more organic tack, focusing on group dynamics.    Yet, there is the sense that this band had only begun to scratch the surface, that there are musical secret weapons yet to be heard...
