If a Volcano played guitar, an Earthquake played bass, a Tsunami played drums and a Tornado sang, it would sound either like the Mayan prophecy of the end times....or TRANSFrICION

Biography

Hi, we’re TRANSFrICTION.
In 1947, we were joyriding thru your solar system when we got pulled into your planet’s orbit. We crashed in a town called Roswell, where we met these little green men who took us to this weird place in the desert that had bad food and worse T.V. In 2006, unable to endure anymore Spam or Nick At Nite, we hijacked some sporks from the cafeteria and dug our way to freedom. We’ve been on the run from those little green men ever since. Because our ship is wrecked and we can’t get back to our own world, we decided to disguise ourselves as a 20-something rock band and wander the Earth, continuing your Earthian tradition of bringing people together thru the power of ridiculous volume.

Carolea fusfa! ...er, that’s ‘Thanks and may your day be awesome!’ in our language.

In Plane View of the Spies

Written By: M. Posada

vultures in a sun-stained sky,
blanketing the eastern light,
climbing thru the altitudes,
in plane view of the spies.
seedless fruits and leafless pines,
starved out by the weeds and vines
rotted roots and wilted blooms,
in plane view of the spies.

yeah,
we've been born into a lie!
on and on, the pavement races,
holding up the line...

holding up the line...

winter pleads for warm reply,
elder features worn with time,
deserts mix with blizzard winds,
in plane view of the spies.
wealth in its ribald disguise,
trading secrets, gold and lives,
bouncing checks at our expense,
in plane view of the spies.

yeah,
we've been brought up in a lie!
on and on, the pavement races,
stone by stone, it cracks and ages,
day to day reflects our faces,
holding back the line...

go and find your repose
in those haunted basements,
lose your way
in familiar places,
the cold's creeping in
like a glass-eyed rapist,
don't be scared,
just c'mon and embrace it.
the audience rapt in their.................
.................agitation,
paid in full,
we came to watch you hang!

we came to watch you hang!

dig those trenches deep and wide,
got a lot of bones to hide,
you'll confess and i'll deny,
in plane view of the spies.

yeah,
we all bought into the lie!
on and on, the pavement races,
stone by stone, it cracks and ages,
day to day reflects our faces,
holding down the line....yeah!

in plane view of the spies!
it lies!
despised!
it lies!
despised!

Scurry

Written By: R. Brownson & M. Posada

scurry...

mouth goes right along
with such prolixity
darting 'round the room
flinging mendacious stories

on methamphetamine!

you take, then you're gone
you're your own pawn
fallacy becomes your truth
whenever you want

i've seen this all too much
dissipate one's mind
in and out from one to another,
you scurry, saying:
"ooh, just give me one more
sweet smoke or snort or shot
or rail or gram or bump or drop
or anything you've got
just to help me hit the spot!"

methamphetamine!

you take, then you're gone
you're your own pawn
fallacy becomes your truth
whenever you want

don't slow down...

-METHHEAD INTERLUDE-

you take, then you're gone
you're your own pawn
fallacy becomes your truth
whenever you want
you take then you're gone
you're your own pawn
fallacy, lunacy,
as if there were no
repurcussions at all!

you scurry, saying:

"just give it, give it to me,
i'll do anything, i'll do anything!"

Luck You!

Written By: M. Posada

-BASED ON A TRUE STORY-

well, well, well,
lucky you, lucky you...

i went to the in-conveniance store
to turn my lotto ticket in.
it was the millionth time i was told
my numbers didn't win.
the guy standing behind me in line
said he'd never played before.
he hit the jackpot right off the bat,
now he ain't gotta work no more.

i guess the lucky ones
never have to wait in line,
they just end up in the right place
at the right time...

i went out with this girl
that i'd known since back
in elementary school,
i told her how i'd always had a thing
for her, but tried to play it cool.
we was dancing when a stranger
came up from the bar onto the floor.
ten minutes of whispering
in her ear, and she was
leading him out the door.

i guess the lucky ones
never have to wait in line,
they just end up in the right place
at the right time...

-SOUND COLLISION-

i went walking all over town
cuz i couldn't afford the gas.
i happened by a traffic accident
and the scene of a fatal crash.
i couldn't believe when i seen
it was the stranger and the girl.
they had wrecked with the
lottery winner, i tell ya,
it's a hell of a world.

i guess the lucky ones
sometimes have to wait in line,
it keeps them out of the
wrong place at the wrong time

well, well, well,
lucky you, lucky you?
no, no, no,
lucky me, lucky me, lucky me.
