Transit has two goals: make the best music possible and get it into the ears of everyone possible.
This goal was set after the initial goal of finding each other. This may have been simple in a city of musicians with an obsession for brit-pop, indie-rock, and have heroes with names like Bono and Bjork. However, for the future members of Transit, in the city of Las Vegas, this task would prove to be more like searching for a soulmate... three of them! Winter 2002 marked the beginning of the band formation and was official by the next winter 2003. The following spring began the public emerging of Transit onto the local Vegas music scene..................Next stop, the national scene, then on to the international.
