We had a blast At Patrick’s in Aurora Thursday night 6/26/08 Transit Authority Kicked Butt big time! I have to tell you. Yesterday was great from the start with Rickey and Marcel in the studio, winding up at Patrick’s with a couple of awesome sets. Be sure to check out there new CD ‘Transit Authority-On Track’ I especially like 225@5 not that I like getting caught up in traffic on 225@5, but it’s a great song and it will relieve your stress if you do get caught up in traffic on 225@5.

True survivors of the music industry Transit Authority has clearly benefited not only from endless practices honing their craft, fortifying relationships with one another, but a genuine curiosity about the creative approach of their predecessors. Bands like Fourplay and Spyra Gyra continue to lay the blue print for what real jazz is. Musically and creatively we try to extend our bounds as far as we can.
