March 23, 2020, was the day Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy described Armando's poem as "Sounds like Metal Lyrics" giving birth to what became known as Trapped In Darkness. Infused with Black and Death metal, Trapped in Darkness is a melodic metal band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada that seeks to obtain a perfect union between Black Metal and Death Metal. Atheist, Biblical Folklore, Anarchistic and Historical events, allow for a unique style of lyricism, while masterful harmonies and melodies deliver a powerful sound.
CREMATORIUM is our first album, due for release in March 2022, following our debut single SINNER. A collaboration with long-time friend Mara Lisenko, our album, and our videos with DARKMOON PRODUCTIONS will showcase the talent and skill we have spent so much time trying to perfect.
CREMATORIUM explores the dark side of the human soul. A perfect showcase of the band's musical, technical, and compositional skills. The nihilistic shivering sounds of Black Metal and the anger of Death Metal, in perfect chaotic harmony.
