With all the garbage on the lyrical streets of hip hop today, who better than Austin's own "TRASHMAN" to clean it up. An innovative artist working with some of the best known and unknown producers from the South, Trashman has reinvented himself as a no-nonsense, trash-talkin emcee. Trashuous-clay has been round and round with this lifestyle called Hip hop. His obsession began long ago in hometown Greenville, NC. Like most, he fell in love with the embrace and understanding of hip hop. A connection was made and an outlet for expression formed. For years he tested the boundaries of hip hop...tried to find and perfect his style...only to find that it was his versatility that made him so different. Now re-born in Austin TX emerges a new breed of emcee. He's taking it back to the original attraction of hip hop music. He's trying to re-create that connection between the emcee and the listener. With his "average guy" flows and ear-pleasing rhymes he is re-inventing hip hop one bar, one metaphor, one track at a time. His flexibility allows him to work with different producers with different sounds to create different styles of music that connect with audiences as versatile as his tracks.
