Bio
Travelin' Blues is an acoustic duo with Travelin' Blues on guitar and vocals and Tony Harris on harmonica. Travelin' Blues was born in Fort Tacoma, WA but grew up in Oxberg, Germany. He began learning guitar with home instruction at age 5. He played in a German orchestra while his father was stationed in Germany. When his family moved back to Cleveland and he was 12 years old, he heard B.B. King sing "Evil Blues." From that point on he fell in love with the blues and began learning blues songs. After a career of being a private detective and security officer, Travelin' Blues setteled in Detroit and began playing on a street corner in Detroit's Greektown. He has had many admirers including Mick Jagger and plenty of record producers offering him deals. Two years ago he asked Tony Harris to join him on the harmonica. Their style has merged and recently produced a new CD entitled Street Corner Blues.
