"TRAVIA at the Trocadero recap"

"Our good friends Travia ripped it down to close out the night, as the show was in support of their recently released album, "Revolution". Quite a few tracks from the album are streaming on BCR, they sound even better live, and we highly advise getting yourself a copy of it. And again, couldnt ask for cooler dudes man, Dave and the boys of Travia, keepin it loud man." from the angry priate at Black collor radio.

After many years of differences, disputes and personal changes, Dave Knox (vocals, guitar) returned to helm TRAVIA as the band frontman and soon recruited Gary Baker (lead guitar, backing vocals) in 2008 to join with remaining founding members George Zerumski (bass, backing vocals) and Matt Ochman (drums) to form the newest TRAVIA line-up. They began writing ground-breaking new material that would become the basis and inspiration for a new form of hard rock and metal and later give birth to the new band motto, coniunctis viribus translated from latin to mean "with united powers".

The band currently resides and rehearses outside Philadelphia, in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

It is no coincidence that the followers of hard hitting TRAVIA often have a difficult time describing them to fit into one specific genre. The heavy Philadelphia four piece has made it a collective goal to remain an unpredictable driving force, constantly blurring the limitations of music. Listeners can expect the music of TRAVIA to stand out from the repetitive local scene of today and instead offer an alternative that keeps the audience guessing. We play for the love of music. We play as one. We are TRAVIA.

"It is hard to try to stick a label on the sound of TRAVIA. Ranging anywhere from brutal metal force of "Revolution", to softer rock ballads like "Screaming Inside", or to floor-stomping rock sing-a-longs such as "War Cry", "Nightmare", or "Last Goodbye". TRAVIA is a band that draws you in more and more every time you see them perform, with lyrics that any single individual can relate to, driving guitar riffs, catchy bass lines, and crushing drum work. These four individuals eat, sleep, breathe and bleed their passion, and it truly shows."
