Travis Hopper

       Travis Hopper was born on November 20th, 1993 in Houston, Texas.  He grew up in a suburb area of Houston with two loving parents named Deborah and Stanford Hopper. He also grew up with an older brother named Ryan Hopper. Through his parents, he had a strong emphasis of Christianity in his life.

       He made a home at a church named South Main Baptist Church. When he was 9 years old, he professed his life to Christ in front of the congregation of his church. It wasn’t until later in his life that he completely dedicated his life to God.

       At an early age, he gained an interest in playing the piano after seeing his dad play. He started taking piano lessons and continued taking them until the present day. He also took up an interest in the guitar as a teen but never took any lessons.

       He knew he wanted to make an impact in the world. He thought he wanted to be a police officer and protect the people from criminals. That was unfortunately not what God wanted for his life. On a youth trip taken by his church, he found a passion in music.

       From that point on he wrote songs and instrumental pieces. With a dad whose life is bivocationally revolved around music, Travis was given chances to perform his songs in public. In 2012, he graduated from Pasadena Memorial High School. He went on to get his Associate’s Degree at San Jacinto College. He is currently working on his Bachelor’s Degree at Hardin-Simmons University.
