Travis List

Over the years Australian country music has produced some great voices but not all have embraced the path of the new traditionalist like Travis List. Hailing from South Australia, now a Nashville resident, Travis List has soon become known as one of Australias premier male country artists. His songs resonate with authenticity, his voice holds its own with the best of them, and his live shows leave fans remembering why they first fell in love with country music. His main influences range from his father, a true Australian balladeer, Ian List to Merle Haggard and Slim Whitman. Travis perfectly demonstrates what a modern country ought to sound like, thoroughly contemporary yet completely country.
Growing up in One Tree Hill in South Australia, Travis has been performing on stage since the age 7 first touring with the family band and later had success touring with his sister for 5 years. He quickly moved on to solo performances and as a front man for many well-known South Australian bands. Throughout this time he has won numerous accolades and awards including the Rocky Page Memorial Scholarship which saw Travis graduate from the 2003 Australian Country Music College.
Travis relocated to Nashville in 2008 to focus on his song writing and performing career. This has seen him write, produce and record three albums. The latest release, self titled, Travis List features a pick of both his own material and a few select choices from the hands of Nashville's finest.
Travis can be seen showcasing his latest songs and stage show on the world stage including the most prestigious country music events across Australia, the Tamworth Country Music Festival and the CMC Rocks the Hunter.
