Travis Andrews

Native to the Dallas area, Travis Andrews spent a lot of time at the rodeo in Mesquite, in a time when country music was at its apex. The influences of the late 80’s and early 90’s country is clearly audible in his style of writing and delivery. He later moved to San Angelo to hone his craft in the sleepy West Texas town before making the pilgrimage to Nashville. Upon his arrival, he found himself immersed in the local songwriting scene with the caliber of writers many dream of. His first few weeks in town found him backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, where he found the people and artists alike to be friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. He’s played in many honkytonks and esteemed venues there, including the coveted Wild Horse, The Stage, Layla’s Bluegrass Inn, Tootsie’s, and the Nashville Palace. He lived on Music Row, providing him an opportunity to sit in with top writers in the industry. In the spring of 2007, and after several years on the road, Travis returned home to North Texas to launch his career in Country music.
