Travis and the St. Lou's

Travis and the St. Lou's formed in early 2010 and though they've only been playing together for a short time-their sound is one of veterans. Meeting at the infamous Wednesday Night Music Club, Travis Swanson, Jimmy Nevala and Scott Syrjala play the blues and soul like it's going out of style (which it isn't by the way)! Travis, their headsy front man, is one true young talent. Not old enough to drink, but he sure can wail on the guitar. Jimmy Nevala, keeping the low end down, and has the greatest fan book page ever, on Facebook. Crawling with his cane is Scott Syrjala, the old man of the group at 30 something - he just tries to keep up with these young talents.
With a set list that would rival any true blues band and originals that do the same, Travis and the St. Lou's are an absolute pleasure to not only listen to, but to see as well. They can be seen and heard all around the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Northern Wisconsin.
