Austin & Owens the Neo Flamenco Duo have come along way this year, thanks to the support and receptiveness of Lake County. They graced the airwaves on August 9th with their community radio debut on 88.1 KPFZ FM. This hour-long show including performances and an interview by Dan Dan the Solar Man can be purchased from the radio station for $5, proceeds benefit the station. The community will have more opportunities to catch some upcoming performances with the duo this year. On Sunday, August 17 the duo will be performing at the Blue Wing / Tallman Hotel at 11:30-2 PM. Austin & Owens will be at the Pear Festival in Kelseyville, On September 27th, performing the Oak Tree Stage from 2-4 PM. The duo will be performing at the State Fair this year as well, on Wednesday, August 20th on the main promenade stage from 1-3 PM. Austin & Owens have been diligently working away on their self-produced debut album. It will feature all original material, an array of acoustic guitar virtuosity, and cement ‘Neo Flamenco’ as a new genre of music. Once the entire album is complete the duo will move on to promote to record agencies and talent agencies alike.
