Travis Gibson

He didn’t expect all of this. In fact, none of it was planned at all. But when Travis Gibson picked up a guitar a few years ago, something made it feel like home. Since then he has continued to carefully perfect his craft but the dedication is nothing new to Travis. He grew up on a successful rural Missouri farm and early on got used to long days and working. After high school, he went to Colorado for college and ended up working for the Air Force maintaining some of the most high-tech jets in the world.

All the while, music has remained his constant. A very accomplished and skilled drummer in high school, time has gone by but the song remains the same. He has evolved into an accomplished voice and songwriter. He gain a following by uploading his favorite covers of Eric Church, Jason Aldean, and similar artists to his Youtube channel. He also has fared very well in singing competitions where he has placed 2nd multiple times in the Missouri Idol contest.

He will record his debut EP with Hollis Records slated for release in summer 2012 followed by heavy gigging and will return to the studio winter 2012/2013 to record his first LP! Catch him playing around Missouri and book Travis by emailing Hollis Records!
