"Funky righteous reggae with rock n roll swagger..."

Biography

Here comes Treble..

Not the bad kind of treble, the kind you can't get enough of, the funky, soulful, hypnotic kind! It's a force that drives its point home to the heart, rolling along on its own uncharted path to the true Zion. They call themselves, Treble Attack, a trio of self-made musicians; and they're mashing up Babylon one song at a time!

Reggae music, while international in appeal, has few musical trios to speak of, compared to rock's legendary roll-call. Inspired by the lyrical focus of such legendary trios as Rush, The Police, Nirvana, band leader Tony Treble was determined from the beginning to simplify and refine their unique fusion of reggae, soul and rock while exploring themes beyond conventional reggae. Born of immigrant working-class backgrounds, the treble-heavy grooves they play reflect Caribbean and Western pop influences, but the stories they tell reflect a broader, universal interest in social-political commentary. "Funky righteous reggae with rock n roll swagger...", as Tony Treble puts it, is an apt description of the Treble Attack style, and their soulful crusade is steadily catching fire without major label support!

After meeting by chance in the basement of an unassuming furniture store, the members of Treble Attack – Jason Marshall on drums, Paul Fuller on guitar, and Tony Treble on bass and vocals - began working on tracks for their debut album, scheduled for release in Fall 2013. Marked by bluesy guitar riffs and soulful vocal harmonies, Treble Attack combines social-political awareness and lyric sensibility with a contemporary feel for the varied themes they explore – love, war, political injustice, heartbreak and even science-fiction! Uh oh...here comes Treble!
