ABOUT THE BAND
All the Tree Hut Kings share an appreciation for music of divergent styles and a desire to explore new musical territory throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Inspired by the heart breaking wail of blues and soul, the thought provoking lyrics of 60's folk, the frighteningly technical lines of bebop, and the mesmerizing excitement of a heady jam, Tree Hut Kings have created a style that works your mind and shakes your behind all at once. THK makes funky rock music that is technically pleasing, highly improvisational, but still fun as hell to listen and dance to. Tree Hut Kings have been blending blues, jazz, reggae, rock, funk, jam, grunge, and soul in a way that cuts to the bone during a live performance since summer 2009, and every show promises a new musical experience. Come get down and let it all go with us sometime.

Tree Hut Kings are set apart by the integrity of their overall approach to the music business. By changing each setlist, constantly writing new music and learning new covers, gigging relentlessly, exploring new improvisational territory, creating and maintaining great relationships with venues and booking agents, and demonstrating a rare ability to advertise shows successfully on their own, the guys from Tree Hut Kings are steadily proving that they are in it for the long haul and are prepared to take on the journey.
