Bio

Treemotel started in a bedroom, a garage, a car, and even a little bit of a storage unit. Anywhere Mark and Dave could settle down and write music was where they would do it. After a little over a year of just writing for two guitars, a vocalist, and whatever odd percussion instruments they could find, they hired on the playing of Greg on bass guitar. A little while later, after writing a few songs, but never anything serious, Lindsey joined the group as a second vocalist and Adam was commissioned to play drums. Within one month of the creation of Treemotel, they played their first show ever to a packed house at a small DIY venue in Santa Fe, New Mexico. By the second month as a band, Treemotel was in the studio to record their debut release Swilling Chit and The Eidetic Trill. After playing around with the 12 original songs for a few shows, Treemotel decided to start writing again. A few months later, Treemotel headed to Tulsa, Oklahoma to record their sophomore effort, Tabloid Girl's Future Feature Film Debut in Space and only two months after the release, Treemotel embarked on their first ever tour across six states, playing 10 shows in 11 days. While on tour, Treemotel stopped at Ferralog Studios in Dallas, TX and to their own amazement, recorded, mixed, mastered, and pumped out 50 copies of a four song album in just 36 hours. It was all done on July 16th, and by their show on the 17th, it was available for sale, and sold out of copies by the 19th.

Treemotel continues to grow and do everything in their power to make the most out of an incredible situation. Treemotel is now working on their fourth album in two years and planning to head out on a month long tour in early 2013 in support of the upcoming album.
