Bio

Coming from a small town in Israel, Tree Pit are steadily planting their seed in the bustling London. On board with their adventure was the talented producer Guy Katsav who has worked with the likes of I blame Coco, The Gossip, Laura Marling and Noah and The Whale ,to name a few. The combination of his distinctive ear and the band’s collaborative efforts creates a truly exemplary piece of modern rock with a vintage splash, which has been in the works for the past three years.
Tree Pit cemented their band identity and portfolio through a series of guerrilla gigging, building a solid following through the inclusion of secret pop up gigs. This element of interaction and engagement with their fans is the essence of Tree Pit’s ethos as they take on the streets of London and renown music venues such as The Lexington, The Strongroom and The Borderline with phenomenal stage presence, passion and energy. Unable to sit still, they have recorded an acoustic session with The Strongroom, been featured on multiple online and offline radio channels such as Amazing Radio and gained support slots for established artists such as Mad Dog Mcrea and Midnight Youth raising attention towards their talent.
Their EP is a journey into the predominant pop culture, picking up on prevailing themes of love and pain as it plays with the duality of both, conjuring feelings of repression that end up in release. Deeply rooted in personal experiences, it narrates an extremely relatable story of the inner demons individuals struggle with. The lead singer’s sensual deep vocals compliment the backdrop of drums and eerie base, creating an intense and passionate vibe that lures you into the song, feet first. Unlike traditional rock music, Tree Pit marries jazzy undertones and fusion influenced beats to create an unrestrained musical piece reminiscent of their early influences such as John Coltrane and Peter Gabriel. Picking elements from vintage blues and modern rock to blend them with their folkloric origins create Tree Pit’s unique sound.
