Bio

Trench Money aka Christopher Waltz was raised in broken homes across Westminster, MD, Philadelphia and York, PA. Even though his school constantly changed, the troubled youth was steady to absorb the rap legends of the time: Tupac, Notorious BIG, Nas, Dre, & Eminem. With the help of an old laptop, Trench took his love for hip-hop and R&B music to the web, finding instrumentals and recording his own rhymes. Friends and family quickly took notice of his talent, and with their encouragement, Trench Money began to see his future. The path is never straight forward, and like Biggie, a major road-block was encountered early on. 19 years old and back on the streets, Trench was hungry, and a record deal sounded a lot better than prison food. Unable to contain his creativity, a make-shift, garage studio was built with a friend so recording could begin immediately. After meeting the owner of Interstellar Studios and spending some time in a professional environment, Trench Money's first album "Mental Physics Vol. 1" was produced. Unforeseen issues prevented its release, but Trench was undeterred, and a discussion with a VP from Shady Records confirmed he was on the right path. The deal was sealed when he met Brandon Rudy, founding owner of Barn Cat Records, and work began on Trench Money's official debut record. On June 8th, 2012, "Push It" was released at the historic Valencia Ballroom, York, PA's premier source of entertainment for over 100 years, showcasing famous acts like Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, and Trench Money.
