North Central Montana has found a winning formula with the right mix of country and classic rock, with The Trent Brooks Band!
The band features frontman Trent Brooks on lead guitar and vocals. Justin Millkan on bass, John Laughlin on keyboards, Jim Johnson on pedal steel guitar and fiddle (schedule permitting), along with Ivan Holland on drums.
The groups country offerings include hits from Little Texas, Alabama, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, and Tracy Byrd. Classic Rock artists covered span The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Marshall Tucker Band. The band also feature showcases original songs off of Brooks' two independently released albums: "Down the Line" and "High on A Honky Tonk!"
Solid three part vocal harmony, a superb fiddle player, along with the heartbreak of a pedal steel guitar, a commanding stage presence and performance, including a strong playlist with original music, and an appealing mix of classic rock and country are noteable draws for the group.

Fresh off the release of his latest album, Trent Brooks' style of authentic country honky-tonk dance music runs the gambit of Williams, Paycheck, Jennings, and Jones... to Jackson, Strait, Pardi and Combs!
"Don't confuse me with anyone else in the music business," Brooks explicates. "I may play a few familiar songs, but in a strange way, they are so much a part of me, that you'll feel it in your bones." Currently on stage as part of The Trent Brooks Band, Trent Brooks is joined by harmony vocalist, bassist, and multi Instrumentalist Justin Millkan; harmony vocalist, fiddle and pedal steel guitar player Jim Johnson (schedule permitting); harmony vocalist, and keyboardist John Laughlin (schedule permitting); and drummer/percussionist Ivan Holland. Together, they bring a whole new dynamic to the outlaw style, and the sound Brooks discovered years ago.

Trent Brooks has written and released two independent, ten song full-length studio albums on his own label, West Hill Records. A solid mixture of original songs, with just a few select covers to season the albums to taste.
Trent Brooks is currently writing songs for his third independent album; release date TBA.
Trent Brooks is a Veteran of The United States Army, and supports all Veterans organizations and causes.
