TreynWrek

TreynWrek is a high energy three piece Texas Blues and Funk Rock band from Houston, Texas. In 2011, because of similar tastes in music and roots in blues and rock, Trey Dryden (guitarist and vocalist) and Tim Hutto (drummer) embarked on forming a new band. They shortly thereafter brought in heavy metal bassist JamesBreaux from Houma, LA to form a power trio.

With almost seven years under their belt and all of the original members, TreynWrek has become a well oiled machine, providing original music along with classic rock and blues cover songs that will please any crowd. TreynWrek brings a mix of originality, passion, and devotion for putting on the best crowd  pleasing performance possible, whether it’s in a small venue or in front of thousands of people. TreynWrek is one of the hardest working bands in the Houston area and perform over 120 shows a year. They have shared their music and reached new fans in different corners of Texas such as Freeport, Huntsville, Galveston, Arlington, Fort Worth, Sweetwater and continue to branch farther outside of the Houston area. TreynWrek has performed in many notable Houston venues including The Revention Music Center, The Continental Club, Fitzgerald's, Dan Electro's Guitar Bar, The Big Easy and The Scout Bar. In addition, they have performed at many events and festivals such as the Montrose Beer & Gun Club’s Cook-off & Music Festival, Rory Miggins Memorial Irish Stew Cook-off & Music Festival, Houston’s Tamale Festival, Pearland Crawfish Festival, Spring Crawfish Festival, Texas Lone Star Bike Rally, Regional International Blues Competition and numerous benefit shows to give back to the community.

TreynWrek has produced and released two albums and are currently working on their third album, which they feel will showcase their growth and diversity over the history of the band. TreynWrek has also been self-managed from the beginning and currently continues to book and perform lives shows throughout Texas.
